Consider Submitting an Abstract to ASHG 2023 This Year!

We are excited to welcome you back to the east coast of the U.S. for the ASHG 2023 Annual Meeting which will take place November 1-5 in Washington, DC. You can expect to experience five full days of exciting science from platform talks to the robust exhibit and poster hall. The Society’s Program Committee is already assembling an exciting slate of invited sessions submitted by your peers that highlight emerging research and novel applications on a variety of topics to meet our attendees’ diverse education needs.

This year is exceptionally special as ASHG celebrates its 75th anniversary which will be commemorated throughout the meeting by the inclusion of a Saturday night party (ticket required) at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. More information will be posted on our annual meeting website in coming weeks. This year’s meeting will also include the ever popular trainee-focused reception and an exciting Presidential Symposium organized by this year’s President, Brendan Lee, MD, PhD. Stay tuned for information on member housing and the preliminary schedule for the meeting to be available in April and registration for the meeting to open in the first week of May.

What better way to participate in this historic moment than to submit your abstract for a chance to present your science. The abstract submission site will open on April 19 and will close June 8. If that’s not convincing enough, we put together a list of reasons why you definitely should not miss this opportunity.
