Your Guide to AJHG Access
Access Instructions
If you do not have a login, complete these steps first. This is a one-time action.
- Navigate to the AJHG homepage.
Select ‘Register’ in the top right-hand corner.
a. Use your preferred email and enter the required information to register.
b. Do not select ‘Sign in via your organization’
Follow these steps to login once you have registered:
- Navigate to the AJHG homepage.
- Click ‘Login’ in the top right-hand corner.
a. Do not select ‘Sign in via your organization’ - Once you’re logged in, your name will appear in the top right-hand corner.
If you have never claimed your access to AJHG before, you will need to complete these steps before you can access the journal. This is a one-time action.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the AJHG homepage and under ‘Access’ select the ‘Claim’ option.
- Select the name ‘The American Journal of Human Genetics’
- Enter your Member ID in the ‘Account Number’ field and your last name.
- You will receive a ‘Claim Activation Successful’ message.
- You can now access the journal.

Information About Your Membership
- Membership runs on a calendar year (January – December), so be sure to join/renew early to enjoy a full year (or two!) of benefits and community.
- If your membership is on Auto-Renew and you want to change it to a Manual Renewal, you can do so by toggling off the ‘Auto-Renew’ option on your Subscriptions page.
- You can update your payment method on file at any time here.
