Careers & Learning Center at ASHG Central
In Washington DC., the ASHG Careers & Learning Center will be located in the Exhibit Hall at ASHG Central and will be open during exhibit hours, Thursday (9:30am-5pm), Friday (10:00am-5pm) and Saturday (10:00am– 4:30pm). Stop by to ask any annual meeting questions you may have, get information about all ASHG learning & career resources, or just to say hi.
The meeting program includes two career development events and seven workshops for trainees and early-career scientists that are available for registration for now.
Free Career Coaching
ASHG is offering free 1:1 career coaching for meeting attendees at ASHG central in the exhibit hall! Sign up using one of the links below to meet with a career coach for 15 minutes during ASHG 2023. You will be asked to share your updated CV or resume before the meeting so the coach can review with you onsite. Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis and there will not be additional times added once they are all booked. Make sure to sign up today!
Attend the ASHG Career Fair
Held in the Exhibit Hall Thursday and Friday (3:00pm-5:00pm) and Saturday (2:15pm-4:15pm), the Career Fair will connect attendees at all experience levels who are seeking jobs with groups that are actively hiring. Find New Jobs and Post on the Online Career Center
ASHG no longer supplies a physical job board at the Annual Meeting. However, ASHG’s online job board connects the innovative and energetic ASHG community with highly relevant positions in human genetics and genomics. There is no cost to post a resume and search positions, and job posting is discounted for ASHG members! For questions, email careerprograms@ashg.org.
Headshot Lounge
Need an updated professional headshot? Make sure you check out the Career Fair Headshot Lounge which will be available as part of the Career Fair in the Exhibit Hall Saturday, November 4th, from 2:15 pm – 4:15 pm. Headshots are free, but space is on a first-come, first-served basis.
