Registration is Open

ASHG is excited to celebrate its 75^th organizational anniversary in person in Washington, DC during ASHG’s 2023 Annual Meeting, November 1-5. ASHG 2023 will be an unmatched opportunity to celebrate like never before in a historical, diverse, and welcoming city home to many free activities.

Registration to the ASHG Annual Meeting gives you access to thousands of presentations on groundbreaking science as well as engaging networking opportunities that will allow you to get valuable feedback on your research and grow your network in the human genetics and genomics community. With over 7,000 expected attendees, the ASHG 2023 Annual Meeting is the place to be to experience a great lineup of in person scientific sessions.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

Registration rates are outlined below. ASHG members receive discounted rates, so join or renew your ASHG membership before processing your registration! ASHG membership runs January through December — the sooner you join, the sooner you start enjoying the benefits.

- ASHG offers continuing education (CE) credits for CME and CEUs (NSGC and PACE). A list of approved sessions and the number of credits available will be announced in August. You are required to register for the meeting and pay a separate fee to apply for CE credits.
Plus: workshops, career development events, and plenty of networking opportunities like a special 75^th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, November 4.

Registration does not include meals.

Livestreams

For those not attending the meeting in DC, the ASHG Presidential Address, Presidential Symposium, and Distinguished Speakers Symposium will be livestreamed.

To access the livestream for these events, go to the ASHG home page on the day/time of the presentation and the event will be showcased at the top of the page. It will also be available onDemand immediately afterwards for those unable to join live. There is no charge for these livestreamed events.

ASHG 2023 will not have a virtual component except where livestreams are listed per the above.

Guest Registration

Individuals accompanied by registered attendees may register as guests onsite only. The fee includes admission to the Exhibit Hall only.

If you wish to bring your child into the exhibit and poster hall, you must obtain a complimentary badge (18 and under only) at the registration counter in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Press Registration

Press registration is now open. Before registering, please review our Press Guidelines for eligibility requirements and other key details.
ASHG encourages press to register in advance. In the weeks leading up to the meeting, press who have registered for the meeting will receive access to embargoed press releases and other related materials.

Payments

Registration payments must be made by credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or Visa only). We do not process fax registrations, checks, or purchase orders.

To pay by Wire/ACH, please email ashg@xpressreg.net or call 774-247-4003 to begin your registration. You will then be emailed an invoice along with payment instructions. Processing could take up to 10 business days. Requests for payments by wire/ACH will no longer be fulfilled after October 11, 2023.

If the standard registration form does not match your institution’s payment requirements, please contact ASHG@xpressreg.net.

Others may register on behalf of a registrant if they can provide the necessary information and payment by calling 774-247-4003 or emailing ASHG@xpressreg.net. You must log into the ASHG website to register. To access ASHG member rates, make sure you are entering the same email address as used in the registrant’s membership profile.

Meeting registration cannot be transferred to another person.
